What is the cost of a Session?
Primary Moves Exercise Physiology adheres to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (2023-24).

How long does a session go for ?
NDIS covered sessions will go for 45 minutes.

Medicare covered sessions can go for 30 - 45 minutes.
However, all session times can be altered at the discretion of the provider, depending on your unique needs.
What can I expect during a session ?
You will receive specialised delivery of your exercise prescription within your home, a hydrotherapy pool, or a location at your convenience.

You will be supervised by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, who will be there to provide support completing your exercises.
What can I expect in an initial consult ?
An initial consult will include a discussion to understand your medical background, current reasons for seeking therapy, your exercise preferences and goals you would like to achieve.

An initial consult may include some assessments to understand your current strength, fitness, gait, joint range / mobility, muscle spasticity and more.
​
At the end of the initial consult, we will work with you to formulate a personalised plan of care, which will help you achieve your goals.
What if I don't have exercise equipment at home
All exercise equipment is provided by Primary Moves Exercise Physiology

Primary Moves Exercise Physiology is also able to meet you at a gym, pool, or park to complete exercises.
Is there anything I need to do prior to my first session ?
An intake form will be emailed to you to fill out as accurately as possible. When completed, ensure you email it back to Primary Moves. Carers, support workers, or appropriate informal support worker/cares are allowed to assist you with completing this form.
